The Moroccan jewellery designer Amina Aguezney invited the participants of the workshop “Structure of matter” to explore natural materials in the environment of Boisbuchet. She asked them to wander around, looking for objects, structures, patterns and materials which awoke their interest. The focus of the workshop was less on the final object than on the creative process. One of the design processes was to create complexity through repetition of a singular material. The participants connected their objects found in Boisbuchet with hand-and machine made materials resulting in unexpected pieces of jewellery and body sculptures.
At the end of the week all the pieces were presented in defile in front of the Shigherou ban pavilion.
