We will create ludic objects to be  used by children and adults.

We will employ the technique of mould making to manufacturing the prototype of an object in porcelain, which is only associated with other materials to this point. It will have no other function that being handled, shared or being friendly.

Methology:

The participants will benefit from classes at Boisbuchet, a field trip on porcelain in the region and from using the kilns and the porcelain workshop at ENSA.

The workshop week will permit to get a good insight in all phases of the porcelain process:
molding, cutting and gluing, firing, glazing, and decorating.

Please bring to the course: desires, ideas, sketches, models and various tools and materials you thikn will be helpful for you to carry out their project.

Bernardaud Porcelaine de Limoges, one of the major porcelain manufacturers in France, is supporting the workshop and the participants will be able to visit the manufactury and their summer exhibition in Limoges.

All levels are welcome.
