This inspiration comes out mainly from the context, the people and its relations,
from its beautifull nature!
This year workshop will emphasize the observation and emulation of Boisbuchet’s nature…
Micro and macro, human, natural and “artificial”.
So the theme can be understood as a personal journey during these days of workshop.
We will use materials that we may find and collect from the outdoors but also the few
essential ones available at the workshop with basic tools seeking for a project simple
and complex as nature… .
Gala Fernandez (ES)WORKSHOP INSTRUCTORGala Fernández was born in Madrid in 1969. She studied art and design at the Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and industrial design at the Istituto Europeo de Design in Milan, where Gala also taught while working as a freelance designer. After that, she was employed by Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication research centre, and worked as the 3D design department’s coordinator for four years. She was also in charge of the project “Fabrica Features”. She has lectured at the Royal College of Art, London, the Goldsmith College, London, and the Nederland Architecture Instituut, Rotterdam, among many others.
