After a brief introduction to his work, Behar led participants through the classical design process: 2D sketching and brainstorming sessions in small groups, followed by 3D material exploration and prototyping. Locations and light patterns of the surrounding Boisbuchet landscape were explored as the group began to divide into small teams for final projects. Concepts were inspired by a diversity of ideas. Everything from friendship and community, to DNA structures was explored as participants worked late into the night on Thursday. Small breaks of badminton and volleyball kept energy high and the group spirit alive. Final projects were presented Friday afternoon, followed by a late-night tour that showcased each light illuminating a unique part of Boisbuchet. |
