A long-time runner in Boisbuchet, Ed Annink has returned one more time. He brought with him thoughts, words, his "legendary" boxes of images, and encouraged everybody to come up with new ways of thinking. To start a discussion he showed "Surplus: Terrorized Into Being Consumers", video essay of Eric Gandini.

Every participant choose three images from different categories: nature, alphabet, trust, happiness, accident and so on all pictures from products to insects to deceases to atmospheres... With the images in hand, an after individual talks with Ed, each person went off to search for their own interpretation of what the images suggested to them, and new visions ou thoughts were brought to life.

The new developed visions, through the given images, came to expression via different medias: from a video of a spiral made of tableware, a performance in the moonlight, story telling, powerpoint presentations to a lighten baby-dool. Finally the starting images were samples of simple means that can help in a design process. The week was full of surprises, from laughter and tears, from uncertain to concrete, from image to shape.
