Apr\u00e8s avoir pass\u00e9 18 ans \u00e0 Barcelone, Henrik \u00c5gren est aujourd’hui un designer industriel sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans la conception de meubles et de produits, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Malm\u00f6.<\/p>\n

Il s’agit du premier objet qu’il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 sans fonction d\u00e9finie. D\u00e9velopp\u00e9 lors de sa r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Boisbuchet, cette pi\u00e8ce explore le mouvement naturel du bois au fil du temps.<\/p>\n

Une plaque de ch\u00eane rouge fra\u00eechement coup\u00e9e sert d’actionneur. En s\u00e9chant, elle commence \u00e0 se courber, modifiant subtilement sa g\u00e9om\u00e9trie. Ce mouvement est amplifi\u00e9 par les longues lattes de paulownia s\u00e8ches situ\u00e9es au-dessus, cr\u00e9ant une expression en \u00e9ventail de la tension interne. La base est en bois de bouleau.<\/p>\n

L’objet a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 presque enti\u00e8rement \u00e0 l’aide d’outils manuels. Il s’agit d’une \u00e9tude structurelle et d’une hypoth\u00e8se silencieuse selon laquelle le mouvement se poursuivra, saison apr\u00e8s saison, comme un rappel vivant du rythme et de la m\u00e9moire du mat\u00e9riau.<\/p>\n<\/div>
