WIN A DESIGN WORKSHOP IN BOISBUCHET<\/h4>\n

Domaine de\u00a0Boisbuchet<\/a>\u00a0is a unique, off-the-wall design destination situated on the French countryside.\u00a0Each year we organize\u00a0a series of interdisciplinary workshops where students and professionals from all over the world come together for a week of experimental work with renowned designers, architects and artists.<\/p>\n<\/div>

-Identify amongst your own\u00a0projects (realised or imagined)\u00a0 one which best interprets the theme \u00ab\u00a0Matters of Fact\u00a0\u00bb defined here below.
\n-Send us before June 5th (before midnight) an email to\u00a0info@boisbuchet.org<\/a>\u00a0containing up to 4 pages in a pdf format (in high as well as in low definition) showing your (realised or imagined) creation and captioned in either English or French. There are no further restrictions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

Prizes<\/h4>\n

The two winners will be invited for 6 days to the Domaine de Boisbuchet between July 1st and September 1st 2018 in order to participate in a workshop of their choice \u2013\u00a0tuition, accommodation, board and travel are included in the prize.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

Theme: Matters of Facts<\/h4>\n

Fake news, alternative facts, virtual realities… Media that were meant to connect us are taking on a life of their own. They blur borders between the actual world and its image and they answer questions about true or false with the loudest voice or strongest image. Our workshops this year offer a reality-check. They dip your hands into matter, confront ancient knowledge with high-tech, engage you with innovative companies and let you connect to real people – here and now!<\/p>\n<\/div>

Terms and Conditions\u00a0for our competition are:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Select amongst the workshops of our 2018 season (www.boisbuchet.org) the one in which you wish most to participate.<\/li>\n
  2. You are at least 18 years old and inscibed as student in a European university.<\/li>\n
  3. Identify among your own (realised or imagined) creations one which best interprets the theme \u00ab\u00a0Matters of Fact\u00a0\u00bb defined here above.<\/li>\n
  4. Send us before June 5th (before midnight) an email to\u00a0info@boisbuchet.org\u00a0containing up to 4 pages in a pdf format (in high as well as in low definition) showing your (realised or imagined) creation and captioned in either English or French. There are no further restrictions.<\/li>\n
  5. The jury is lead by Alexander von Vegesack, founder of the Domaine de Boisbuchet, and comprises Isabelle de Ponfilly, director of Vitra France, Constance Rubini, director of the Mus\u00e9e des Arts d\u00e9coratifs et du Design in Bordeaux, and Jonathan Knowles, professor of architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. The 2 winners will be announced on the Domaine de Boisbuchet website on June 10th 2018.<\/li>\n
  6. The two winners will be invited for 6 days to the Domaine de Boisbuchet between July 1st and September 1st 2018 in order to participate in a workshop of their choice \u2013 tuition, accommodation, board and travel are included in the prize.<\/li>\n
  7. A presentation of the winning designs will be organized during the winner’s stay at Boisbuchet, in presence of the Domaines directors and all international participants and tutors that are present during that week. The winning designs will also be featured on Boisbuchet’s newsletter, website and social media.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
