Il observait aussi qu\u2019en Am\u00e9rique, il \u00e9tait logique d\u2019essayer de faire flotter une pierre, car la culture occidentale vise \u00e0 d\u00e9passer les limites impos\u00e9es par la nature. En Europe, la pierre a longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 fa\u00e7onn\u00e9e par la main humaine pour exprimer des id\u00e9es ; tandis qu\u2019en Aotearoa, Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande, les pierres sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme les anc\u00eatres du tangata whenua \u2014 le peuple autochtone du territoire.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019heure d\u2019une interconnexion mondiale et de l\u2019imbrication des influences culturelles, comment d\u00e9finir notre propre philosophie du rapport \u00e0 la terre ? Le design consiste \u00e0 intervenir dans la nature, \u00e0 remodeler notre environnement selon nos besoins. Mais jusqu\u2019o\u00f9 peut-on aller sans exc\u00e8s ? Et \u00e0 partir de quel moment une intervention trop discr\u00e8te cesse-t-elle d\u2019\u00eatre du design ? Faut-il faire flotter les pierres, ou les laisser nous ancrer ?<\/p>\n<p>Rejoignez-nous pour quelques jours de collecte, d\u2019exploration et de cr\u00e9ation d\u2019objets contemporains et contextuels dans le paysage naturel du Domaine. En nous inspirant de la for\u00eat, des prairies et de la rivi\u00e8re, nous travaillerons \u00e0 partir de mat\u00e9riaux trouv\u00e9s sur place \u2014 notamment des pierres \u2014 et suivrons nos id\u00e9es tout en respectant les formes et textures existantes. Par la combinaison d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments naturels et de profils m\u00e9talliques, nous explorerons des notions de symbiose, d\u2019harmonie, de dissonance et de pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 \u00e0 travers des compositions exp\u00e9rimentales. \u00c0 l\u2019aide d\u2019outils simples et de nos mains, nous assemblerons ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments pour cr\u00e9er des objets fonctionnels ou sculpturaux.<\/p>\n<p>En parall\u00e8le du travail manuel, les participants seront invit\u00e9s \u00e0 s\u2019immerger dans le paysage \u2014 nager, marcher, interagir avec les \u00e9l\u00e9ments du site. En fin de semaine, les cr\u00e9ations donneront lieu \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie d\u2019installations : autant de dialogues mat\u00e9riels qui inviteront \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 notre lien \u00e0 la terre. Ce workshop offrira une meilleure compr\u00e9hension du comportement des mat\u00e9riaux, des relations spatiales et de la mani\u00e8re dont le design peut s\u2019inscrire dans un contexte donn\u00e9
