Leur solidit\u00e9 ne repose pas sur la masse, mais sur la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie, ce qui en fait un mod\u00e8le de construction pertinent et bas carbone dans le contexte de la crise environnementale actuelle.<\/p>\n<p>Cet atelier explore l\u2019art et la technique des vo\u00fbtes en briques plates, \u00e9galement appel\u00e9es vo\u00fbtes Guastavino ou vo\u00fbtes catalanes, une m\u00e9thode m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne qui utilise de fines tuiles en c\u00e9ramique et du pl\u00e2tre pour cr\u00e9er des structures lamin\u00e9es, avec un coffrage minimal et un savoir-faire maximal. Bien qu\u2019historiquement associ\u00e9es \u00e0 des b\u00e2timents monumentaux, ces vo\u00fbtes trouvent leurs racines dans des traditions artisanales locales \u00e0 travers le monde, o\u00f9 des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de ma\u00eetres b\u00e2tisseurs ont transmis ce savoir par la pratique. \u00c0 ce titre, la vo\u00fbte en briques plates a \u00e9t\u00e9 centrale dans le travail remarquable d\u2019architectes tels que Antoni Gaud\u00ed et Rafael Guastavino, qui s\u2019appuyaient sur des ma\u00eetres artisans pour traduire leur vision g\u00e9om\u00e9trique en formes construites.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de l\u2019atelier, les participants concevront et construiront un pavillon vo\u00fbt\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9chelle r\u00e9elle sur le site de Boisbuchet. Encadr\u00e9 par les cofondateurs de CERCAA, un ma\u00eetre b\u00e2tisseur et un designer architectural, l\u2019atelier introduira les participants \u00e0 la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie, \u00e0 la structure et aux techniques pratiques de construction en briques plates.<br \/>\nL\u2019atelier met \u00e9galement en lumi\u00e8re et invite \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont les m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles peuvent dialoguer avec des outils num\u00e9riques contemporains, notamment la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e et la construction m\u00e9canis\u00e9e afin d\u2019enrichir, plut\u00f4t que de remplacer, les savoir-faire artisanaux.<\/p>\n<p>Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une opportunit\u00e9 unique d\u2019explorer l\u2019intersection entre design, ing\u00e9nierie et artisanat, et de repenser la culture architecturale \u00e0 travers l\u2019intelligence des mat\u00e9riaux, la fabrication collective et un apprentissage
