Les vanit\u00e9s sont des \u0153uvres d’art qui portent sur la fugacit\u00e9 et la bri\u00e8vet\u00e9 de la vie, la futilit\u00e9 du plaisir et la certitude de la mort. Le th\u00e8me des vanit\u00e9s touche \u00e9galement le th\u00e8me contemporain du consum\u00e9risme\u00a0: si notre vie est \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re, il en va de m\u00eame pour (presque) toutes les choses qui nous entourent. L’atelier Vanitas XL explore les possibilit\u00e9s et les pi\u00e8ges des installations de vanit\u00e9s modernes en trois dimensions. L\u2019atelier a pour but de cr\u00e9er des installations de vanit\u00e9s qui utilisent un mat\u00e9riau v\u00e9g\u00e9tal vivant ou mort, cueilli \u00e0 la main et collect\u00e9 dans ou \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du domaine de Boisbuchet. On y int\u00e9grera des mati\u00e8res non v\u00e9g\u00e9tales qui rappelleront le th\u00e8me du consum\u00e9risme.<\/p>\n

Les participants \u00e0 l\u2019atelier commenceront par r\u00e9aliser de petites installations individuelles dans un format de la taille d’une table, dans l’un des pavillons du domaine. Par la suite, les objets seront agrandis au cours d\u2019un travail collectif, afin de r\u00e9aliser une installation plus \u00e9tendue sur la grande pelouse du ch\u00e2teau. Cela pourrait exiger des solutions radicales, pour autant les \u0153uvres de vanit\u00e9s restent finalement des objets de spectacle. Par cons\u00e9quent, il sera \u00e9galement n\u00e9cessaire de cr\u00e9er un socle, une bo\u00eete ou une plate-forme, sur lequel ou laquelle l\u2019installation collective aura la possibilit\u00e9 de transmettre son message \u00ab\u00a0Memento mori\u00a0\u00bb de la mani\u00e8re la plus radieuse qui soit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
