Hello and welcome to Domaine de Boisbuchet! Please choose now between the languages English and French.

Please keep your smartphone, internet access and GPS switched on and adjust the volume so that you can follow the spoken introductions to each station of this nature trail outside – if you prefer to hear them rather than read them.

This software will accompany you on a walk that will teach you a lot of interesting facts about the forest – sometimes historical and cultural, sometimes more scientific or technical. Our educational trail with 11 stations is a first, experimental version, which we would like to develop further, perhaps together with you. More stations about animals and wood, about sports and recreation as well as about architecture, art and design are planned.

At any time, you will be able to find your current location on a map and survey the entire trail – corresponding to the roots of a tree in the ground. The chapters that are thematised at each station are divided into sub-chapters – just like the branches of a tree.

The length of your walk will also depend on how deeply you want to go into each chapter, but please allow at least an hour.

Please stay on the designated path at all times and do not enter the buildings – with the exception of those at stations 8, 19, 21 and 22. Please note that throwing away even small waste is prohibited.

Also, please be equipped for your walk with clothing suitable for the weather and sturdy footwear, and keep your eyes peeled for bumps in the path and brush or branches that could injure you – you are solely responsible for your own safety! Therefore, we first ask you to confirm the following terms and conditions for your use of our nature trail by clicking on the box before you start the actual walk:

The operator/property owner accepts no liability in the event of accidents, in particular damage to property and/or personal injury. Liability claims of the respective users against the operator or other commissioned persons and employees are excluded. Each user shall be liable without limitation for damage to property and personal injury that can be attributed to his/her fault. I hereby declare and expressly acknowledge that I enter and stay on the premises exclusively and without restriction at my own risk. I will keep a safe distance from sources of danger such as watercourses or ditches.

And one last important note: We invite you to participate in the development of this forest trail! Do not hesitate to send us your suggestions for corrections, additions or links to other forestry actors in our region: info@boisbuchet.org – thank you!
