Aline Houdé-Diebolt (Aline HD) est artisane et designer, spécialisée dans le travail du papier. Née en 1985 en Alsace, elle exerce aujourd’hui en France et à l’international. Formée au design textile à l’École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré à Paris, elle a transféré son expertise au domaine du papier. Depuis 2013, Aline développe une pratique distinctive dans le champ de l’artisanat contemporain. Au fil des années, elle a créé ses propres techniques, élevant ce matériau universel au rang de véritable orfèvrerie sur papier grâce à une rare combinaison de précision, de rigueur et d’innovation.
Ses créations, commandées par de grandes maisons de luxe internationales, se présentent sous forme de vitrines, de shootings éditoriaux et de campagnes publicitaires. Parallèlement à ces commandes, elle développe des projets personnels et s’est imposée comme une référence dans son domaine.
Sa carrière a été saluée par plusieurs distinctions prestigieuses : elle est académicienne de la Fondation d’Entreprise Hermès (2025), lauréate du Prix des Artisanes 2024 (Elle × LVMH) et récipiendaire de prix décernés par les Fondations Banque Populaire, Rémy Cointreau et Aquatique Show. Son travail a été exposé à la Biennale Révélations (Grand Palais, Paris) et à la Biennale Homo Faber à Venise.

L’atelier
How can a flat sheet of paper become architecture or a stage set? In this workshop, designer and craftsman Aline Houdé invites participants to transform simple sheets of paper into large-scale installations. Moving beyond the scale of the page, the workshop explores how a light and flexible material can expand into immersive environments. Through folding, assembling and manipulation, participants will experiment with rapid techniques that allow paper to shift from two-dimensional surfaces to three-dimensional forms.
Participants will develop a visual direction for their installation through moodboards and colour palettes. The aim is not only to construct volume, but to create environments that engage the body and the senses. Paper serves both as structure and medium, altering light, colour, and perception while transforming simple sheets into spatial environments.
The installations will be developed directly in the landscape of Boisbuchet, at a site within the Domaine—forest, field, or riverbank—where paper structures interact with wind, light, and their surroundings. The workshop is open to designers, architects, interior designers, set designers, colour enthusiasts and curious makers interested in exploring the potential of paper as a humble yet infinite material.
