Domaine de Boisbuchet has been working for more than a year on a project with the German company Polycare, which has developed an innovative, economical and sustainable product for building architecture yourself: Modular and reusable building blocks made without water from 90% desert sand and 10% synthetic resin.
In 2021, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, Boisbuchet organized a special 10-day building workshop from October 13 to 23, 2021 to construct a building in the former vegetable garden of the Domaine. The design of the building was prepared in close consultation with Boisbuchet by the renowned Belgian office dmvA, which also leads this workshop.
Note: The reception is limited in respect of sanitary conditions. In accordance with the governmental instructions, the access requires the presentation of a European sanitary pass for all the persons of more than 12 years and two months

Alexander von Vegesack is an exhibition curator and collector of industrial furniture design objects. In December 2010, after 21 years as director of the Vitra Design Museum, Alexander von Vegesack is focused exclusively on the development of his own institution: the Domaine de Boisbuchet.
Dr Gerhard DUST
Founder and CEO Polycare Research Technology GmbH & Co. KG.
Gerhard Dust is a German entrepreneur and inventor. Influenced by the earthquake disaster in Haiti in January 2010, he founded PolyCare Research Technology GmbH & Co.KG together with inventor Gunther Plötner in Thuringia in February 2010 with the aim to develop a simple, plug-in and permanent emergency shelter concept made of market-ready polymer concrete.
Tom VERSCHUEREN
Founder dmvA Architecten
Tom Verschueren born in 1970 in Hoogstraten, Belgium. He studied architecture at the Henry van de Velde College in Antwerp and obtained a post-graduate degree in Monument and Landscape in Antwerp. He founded the architecture office dmvA in 1997, together with his colleague David Driesen.
