Boisbuchet is a work in progress with plenty of job opportunities. We do not offer great wages but an exciting, dynamic and challenging collaboration with young, international colleagues on a philanthropic organization that is globally networked yet based in Domaine de Boisbuchet’s idyllic environment.

Workshop Season 2016

Would you like to be part of Boisbuchet’s team in 2016?

For the preparation, operating and wrap-up of our upcoming workshops in design and architecture, we are now recruiting staff to provide office assistance, guided tours, photo and video documentary, gardening, clearance and hospitality.

The 2016 workshop season will be running from early June to mid September under the motto of “Design and the Community”. Please check below the requirements for each role and send your CV and photo, a motivational letter and the dates of your eventual availability to: manager@boisbuchet.org.

Particular skills for general staff:kitchen-staff
· We require a minimum availability of 8 weeks of work and will prioritize people with a longer availability.
· Being fluent in spoken English.
· We value positive, pro-active and hard working people who are willing to cooperate in different areas and work as a team.
· We are looking for passionate and committed people, capable of fostering a feeling of community with fellow staff members, participants and designers.
· Remuneration: this is an unpaid internship, but every 4 weeks of work you will be offered a voucher for one workshop of your choice in 2015 – to be taken the week after the completion of your working period. You will also be offered a bus transfer from Poitiers train station, food and accommodation.

Particular skills for office assistants:
· Being fluent in spoken and written French and English
· Having an outgoing personality, high social and communication skills
· Desirable: background or past experience dealing with Excel spreadsheets, budgeting and accounting.
· We require a minimum availability from June 1st until the end of September.
· We value positive, pro-active and hard working people who are willing to cooperate in different areas.
· We are looking for passionate and committed people, capable of fostering a feeling of community with fellow staff members, participants and designers.

· Strong interest in crafts and eager to work with a wide range of materials and techniques
· Having an outgoing personality, high social and communication skills
· We require availability from June 1st until the end of September.
· We value positive, pro-active and hard working people who are willing to cooperate in different areas.
· We are looking for passionate and committed people, capable of fostering a feeling of community with fellow staff members, participants and designers.

Particular skills for kitchen assistants:kitchen
· Desirable: interest in food and past experience dealing with basic food preparation.
· We require knowledge and respect for the basic rules of hygiene.
· We value positive, pro-active and hard working people who are willing to cooperate in different areas.
· We are looking for passionate and committed people, capable of fostering a feeling of community with fellow staff members, participants and designers.
· Remuneration: this is an unpaid internship, but every 4 weeks of work you will be offered a voucher for one workshop of your choice in 2016 – to be taken the week after the completion of your working period. You will also be offered a bus transfer from Poitiers train station, food and accommodation.

Particular skills for guided tours:
· Fluency in spoken French and/or English.
· A good host, an outgoing personality, able to conduct groups of people.
· Great communication skills.
· Desirable: a background in architecture, design or cultural activities.
· Indispensable: willingness to participate in general hospitality duties; possibly in the kitchen, laundry, office or other posts related to the running of the program.
· Remuneration: this is an unpaid internship, but every 4 weeks of work you will be offered a voucher for one workshop of your choice in 2016 – to be taken the week after the completion of your working period. You will also be offered a bus transfer from Poitiers train station, food and accommodation.

Particular skills for photo documentary:
· Professional experience in photography or film making
· Ability to provide your own equipment for photo or film taking and editing.
· Flexibility to work under the artistic supervision of our director and operational supervision of our manager.
· Please submit a portfolio of your work to manager@boisbuchet.org
· Indispensable: willingness to participate in general hospitality duties; possibly in the kitchen, laundry, office or other posts related to the running of the program.
