Day and Night and Everything in Between

Katarzyna Gołębiowska is a contemporary Polish painter and art historian based in Łódź. The intense time she spent at Domaine was filled with inspiring encounters, conversations, landscapes, and flavors. The morning mist, drizzle, September sun, wet grass, and the time she could devote solely to painting were a luxury for which she is deeply grateful.

During the residency, she worked on the painting project Day and Night and Everything in Between. In her art, she searches for what lies in between : between people, between languages, between nature and architecture, between line and stain, between sky and earth and her stay at Domaine de Boisbuchet was a wonderful opportunity to explore this.
