A MOMENT OF EXCHANGE AND CULTURAL DISCOVERY

Celebrating cultural exchange at the 2025 Confolens Festival

The Confolens Festival is an international celebration of traditional music and dance, founded in the late 1950s. Each summer, it brings together artists and audiences from around the world for a week of cultural exchange, performances, and encounters in the heart of Charente, not far from Boisbuchet. The festival features a program of concerts, dance performances, workshops, and activities for all ages, an opportunity to explore diverse cultural traditions.

In 2025, the festival took place from August 11 to 17. Within this context, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Taiwanese dancers to Boisbuchet, where they enjoyed breakfast on-site and a guided tour of the architectural park, discovering the creative spaces and the environment of the Domaine.

We were also present throughout the event in the associations’ space, alongside other local participants such as the Cassinomagus Archaeological Park or the Maison Maria Casarès, where we shared our work and showcased creations from this year’s workshops and artist residencies, for a valuable exchange with locals and visitors from the region.
