We are currently looking for: Workshops and Communication Assistant
We are looking for a volunteer interested in assisting with the coordination of our design and architecture workshops and creative residencies, as well as communicating/publishing about these activities. The position is remunerated and offered through the Service Civique platform.
Daily actions
Boisbuchet is a world-renowned design and architecture mediation center located in the middle of nature. Our main task is to organize hands-on workshops and residencies.
The volunteer will assist and learn in the preparation and running of these programs. This includes communicating by e-mail and telephone with tutors, participants and staff, preparing, distributing and filing forms and personally accompanying the excursions.
The volunteer writes texts for our public relations department, processes digital images, publishes images and texts on Boisbuchet’s website and social networks and sends out mailings. In addition to the personal communication and organization of the day (e.g. check-in and check-out), the volunteer is always involved in the lively international life around the themes of design, architecture and nature.
Objective
The volunteer’s mission is to support a design and architecture education program for interested amateurs, students and professionals from all over the world, organized in a socially and culturally inclusive working and living community.
Conditions
Open to all young people between the ages of 16 and 25, and up to the age of 30 if they are disabled, Service Civique offers a framework for commitment where young people can work together and live a unique human experience. The status of volunteer in Service Civique gives the right to an allowance paid by the State, and an additional support, in kind or money, paid by the host structure.
