SEASON 2022
Pietro Migliorati is photographer and visual artist based in Barcelona.
In photography, Pietro has found the medium closest to him, his eye, and his perception to find the complicity to express himself.
Fragments of Pietro’s photography do not stop at just the photo shoot but evolve through graphics, digital and paper, posters, postcards, books – sober or experimental.
Pietro looks for perspectives, to play with the reality of his everyday life. He intervenes and lets it run. He plays with shapes, lines, colours, lights, and shadows, with the movements and non-movements of subjects that arouse his interest.
Now, Pietro looks at life from above, not because of a fact of superiority but because of the physical circumstances he finds himself in.
Pietro works in Vertical Techniques, operating in urban structures by intervening with ropes.

From May to June, Pietro documented the residency season at Domaine de Boisbuchet. He captured the working process and results of the residents working on the Domaine.
Pietro then took a residency of his own: experimenting with the materials of the workshop, he created colourful sculptures and set-ups contrasting colours and forms. Each with its own narrative and logic, they formed a family of colour and composition.
