WIN A DESIGN WORKSHOP IN BOISBUCHET

Domaine de Boisbuchet is a unique, off-the-wall design destination situated on the French countryside. Each year we organize a series of interdisciplinary workshops where students and professionals from all over the world come together for a week of experimental work with renowned designers, architects and artists.

Rules of the game

-Identify amongst your own projects (realised or imagined)  one which best interprets the theme « Matters of Fact » defined here below.
-Send us before June 5th (before midnight) an email to info@boisbuchet.org containing up to 4 pages in a pdf format (in high as well as in low definition) showing your (realised or imagined) creation and captioned in either English or French. There are no further restrictions

Prizes

The two winners will be invited for 6 days to the Domaine de Boisbuchet between July 1st and September 1st 2018 in order to participate in a workshop of their choice – tuition, accommodation, board and travel are included in the prize.

Dates: Entries are due June 5th

1 - Select amongst the workshops of our 2018 season (www.boisbuchet.org) the one in which you wish most to participate.
2 - You are at least 18 years old and inscibed as student in a European university.
3 - Identify among your own (realised or imagined) creations one which best interprets the theme « Matters of Fact » defined here above.
4 - Send us before June 5th (before midnight) an email to info@boisbuchet.org containing up to 4 pages in a pdf format (in high as well as in low definition) showing your (realised or imagined) creation and captioned in either English or French. There are no further restrictions.
5 - The jury is lead by Alexander von Vegesack, founder of the Domaine de Boisbuchet, and comprises Isabelle de Ponfilly, director of Vitra France, Constance Rubini, director of the Musée des Arts décoratifs et du Design in Bordeaux, and Jonathan Knowles, professor of architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. The 2 winners will be announced on the Domaine de Boisbuchet website on June 10th 2018.
6 - The two winners will be invited for 6 days to the Domaine de Boisbuchet between July 1st and September 1st 2018 in order to participate in a workshop of their choice – tuition, accommodation, board and travel are included in the prize.
7 - A presentation of the winning designs will be organized during the winner's stay at Boisbuchet, in presence of the Domaines directors and all international participants and tutors that are present during that week. The winning designs will also be featured on Boisbuchet's newsletter, website and social media.
