The Workshop

A book, a shirt, a tube of toothpaste, even the foam of a cappuccino - everything can be illustrated. But how do you make an illustration of all you've got around - how to illustrate the big canvas of our environment?

Drawing is a bit like thinking: initially all we have in our heads is a tangled skein. We erase and start over a thousand times, but then at a certain point we follow one end of the thread and that often takes us where we didn't think it was even possible.

In this workshop, we entirely delve into this multifaceted subject called illustration applying it not to a book, postcard or package but to life itself. And we will start by finding personal visual translations - our pictures that synthesise that mix of ideas, thoughts and feelings.

Our illustrations shall be true to our message and true to the media we are using. The next steps will thus be to look out for the best place where to implement our illustrations and finally realize them - with whatever it takes.
