Arquitectura G (ES)

Celestial Architecture

July 25th – July 31st 2021

The Workshop

Our goal for this workshop couldn’t be more ambitious: we are going to reach for the stars. While the beauty of Boisbuchet’s landscape stands out on its own already, the vast Domaine highlights a spectacular firmament far away from urban light pollution and amazing everyone who stays over night. The only thing missing is our focus, which this workshop aims to provide by creating an observatory!

We’ll need to find the best spot, calculate the perfect surface, elevation, and forms, and organize the right materials for the construction. Then it’s getting physical, because we’ll build it ourselves according to the environment’s terrestial and celestial constellation. At the end we’ll install a professional telescope and on Friday night invite everyone for a Stardust Cocktail in Boisbuchet’s new observatory.
